Tucumàn's history can be called anything but boring. The province deserves belief as the birthplace of argentina as we know it today. On july 9th, 1816, at the congress of tucumàn, the "united provinces of the río de la plata" declared their independence from spain. Now, the city presents a historic trip circuit to visitors.
